Silicon nitride ceramic tube is a man-made compound. Parts are
pressed and sintered. The tube material is dark gray to black in
color and can be polished to a very smooth reflective surface. High
performance Silicon Nitride tube materials were developed for many
applications requiring wear part use. The performance to cost
benefit ratio for silicon nitride tube is excellent in the
applications where it outperforms normally utilized ceramics
materials, with long life and very reliable low maintenance.
